Order Limit ("we", "our", or "the App") is a Shopify application that lets merchants cap the maximum quantity of a product a customer can order, enforced at checkout. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Data We Collect

• Shop data: When a merchant installs the App, we collect the Shopify store domain and an OAuth access token to interact with the Shopify Admin API on the merchant's behalf.
• App configuration: The quantity limit and message you save in the app are stored in a Shopify shop metafield owned by the App.
• Session data: We store session tokens in a secure database to keep merchants authenticated within the App.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, store, or process any personal data from your store's customers. Quantity limits are evaluated against cart contents at checkout via a Shopify Function, and no customer-identifying information is sent to or stored on our servers.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To authenticate your store and maintain your session.
• To save and retrieve your quantity limit configuration.
• To enforce your quantity limit at checkout via a Shopify Function.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties.

5. Data Retention

Session and configuration data is retained for as long as your store has the App installed. When you uninstall the App, your data is deleted within 30 days in accordance with Shopify's data deletion requirements.
